WOW WOW!!!! This video just explains it all perfectly. It can’t get any easier than that. Let’s make a change and help those that we care about to do the same! =)
So it’s my last week of not being on my usual nutrition plan which is The Primal Blueprint from creator Mark Sisson. It’s basically a plaeo-style nutrition plan focusing on lots of raw, organic, natural fruits and vegetables and tons of protein from free range and grass fed sources. It also focuses on consuming animal fats and using that as the primary energy source for the body instead of using carbs from any grains like breads, rice, etc. Check the links for more information on The Primal Blueprint!

I’m not saying that I’m going to give up breads, rice, grains, etc. That wouldn’t be good. I know I’m not at that point yet where I can do it and there are lots of obstacles out there. Plus I’ve been doing my best to satisfy those cravings for things like pastries, cake, cupcakes, bread, rice, noodles, pasta, candy, etc. for the past 3 weeks!
The transition from eating a lot of bread and rice these past few weeks isn’t going to be tough for me since I’ve done it before but for those that are curious, especially my fellow Filipinos and Asians out there wondering how the hell will I survive without rice!?!?!, it’s really not that bad. I’ll be easing in to it and starting at 90-10 Primal with a “shock meal” twice a month so I don’t go completely crazy and hopefully by Thanksgiving I’ll be as close to 100% in to it as I can be.
I really love Primal. When I was following it, it kept me lean, strong, energized, and just feeling good. I was able to drop down to around 8% body fat give or take, while being on Primal. It was a bit pricey getting all the organic foods and such but it’s a small price to pay for keeping me completely healthy. I’m welcoming my meals this coming Monday with a “primal” hunger, pun intended, and I can’t wait to dive in to a juicy medium rare flank steak, cooked with organic butter and topped with caramelized sweet onions and mushrooms, a heaping portion of veggies, and a glass of a serious Cabernet Sauvignon to wash it all down! Time to burn FAT with FAT! And of course some serious working out!
